Arrochar Alps
1 day
Short Round: Take on the famous Cobbler with a beautiful valley walk beside the water of Allt a' Bhalachan and up the famous and unique craggy summit of Ben Arthur (884 m). Not to be underestimated, this trail will take about 4 to 5 hours to complete

Full Round: This one is a big day out seeing the tops of two Munros, Beinn Narnain (926 m) and Beinn Ime (1011 m), with a final climb up the Cobbler to see off the Big Three. This trail will require very good footing, some scrambling abilities, and a head for height, but we will take our time to attempt the summits!

Arrochar is easily reached by car and train with the station an easy 30 min pavement walk from the start of the trail.

History in the hills
1/2 to 1 day
Join us on an immersive history and heritage trail taking in an invigorating hike up some hills while learning about interesting site.
This includes a corner of the Pentland Hills as we will explore some historic highlights of the regional park, including the story of a sunken church, some Roman chat, and an Iron Age hill fort with a prehistoric surprise!
This route takes in some hills but is only a moderate challenge to most with attention paid rather to enjoying the beautiful hill and farmland scenery.

Or we can head out to Tinto Hill, where the dream all began, and head up to the summit from the Iron Age hill fort to the large Bronze Age cairn.

Or have you ever wondered what the Romans ever did for us? Then why not take in some of the Antonine Wall! Built in the 2nd century, sections of this wall and its forts can still be explored as we immerse ourselves in the land of the Picts and Romans.

Scottish history is vast and fascinating so why not head into the hills and see what's beneath your feet!
